Catching a glimpse of my past couples big day is something that never fails to makes me smile, and I'm always grateful when they allow me the opportunity to share those smiles. Rachelle and Issacar celebrated their big day at Casa Los Ebanos located on the Los Ebanos Preserve grounds in Los Fresnos, Texas. This privately owned sprawling eighty-two acre nature park is home to countless native plants and trees, boasts lovely butterfly centered gardens and trails, and the tropical landscaping creates the perfect atmosphere for birdwatching. All of this natural beauty was caught by the gifted eye of Stephanie from Stephanie Rios Photography.
The Celebration
"White florals. Simple. Greenery." These were the words Rachelle and Issacar chose to describe their wedding vision, and these photos are that and so much more. After sunset, the grounds of Casa Los Ebanos was softly illuminated by white lights woven throughout the natural canopy created by the native Texas Ebony trees that surrounded their celebration space. The night was filled with songs of love shared between Rachelle and Issacar and party with friends and family that no one will forget any time soon.
The Cake
Rachelle and Issacar drew their wedding cake inspiration from all of the natural beauty of the venue and its surrounding grounds. The white flowers and sage greenery, provided by Southern Roots Flower Market, cascaded down as a subtle crescent across the front face of their semi-naked wedding cake. A perfect representation of natural beauty at its finest.
The cake flavors were my rich Italian Cream Cake filled with a southern favorite of Pecan Praline Buttercream and my fluffy White Velvet Cake with a Strawberry Buttercream. Both cakes were enrobed with Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
Rachelle and Issacar, your two are absolutely wonderful and from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for allowing me to bring your wedding cake vision to life! This whole experience was one I'll never forget and I'm beyond grateful that you two gave me the opportunity to share your memories with other!
