along with some helpful tips that will help you come up with a cake game plan for your
upcoming wedding, special occasion, or cake craving!
  • How far in advance should I place my cake order?
The sooner, the better! Signature Cakes found in the SHOP may be reserved with four days notice and Custom Cakes will require at least three weeks. During wedding season, we go by the first come first serve policy and our calender fill up quickly with couples booking months in advance, so it's best to reach out as soon as you have your wedding date or venue secured. For events between April and October, it's best to inquire several months in advance. All orders must be finalized at least one month prior to the event date.
  • Do you have different cake slice sizes?
Yes! We currently offer variations of a dessert slice and tea slice. Dimensions listed below [WxLxH]. Dessert: 2x1x5 Half Dessert: 2x1x2.5 Tea: 1x1x5 Half Tea: 1x1x2.5
  • How much are your cakes?
Our custom-made cakes are priced individually and start at $6.00 per buttercream dessert slice serving and $7.00 for fondant dessert slice serving. Prices are subject to change based on intricacy of design, whether buttercream or fondant is chose, and labor involved. We recommend scheduling a Tasting and Consultation, that includes a pick up Tasting Box and a complimentary consultation either over the phone or through Zoom. After our design consultation, a custom quote will be sent your way for your creation.
  • Is there an order minimum?
Yes, our wedding cakes have an order minimum based on the season. April - December: $1,000 January - March: $700
  • How do I place a cake order?
To order a cake, you can do so directly through the SHOP and check out our signature cakes available. If you are looking for something a bit more custom, please get in contact via the General Inquiry Form or Wedding Inquiry Form. To start the process of ordering your wedding cake, you can do so directly through the Wedding Inquiry Form to check our availibilty for your date. If your date is available, we'll move forward to the Tasting and Virtual Consultation where you can try some cakes and fillings and we can chat about any and all of the details that will go in to your wedding cake.
  • How do the tastings and consultations work?
Our tasting boxes start at $46 and can be found in our SHOP. Each box comes with your choice of cakes, fillings and icings available for either the Standard or Deluxe Box. Currently we are only offering pickup tasting boxes paired with a Facetime or Zoom consultaiton that can be held at the couples discretion where we discuss all of your ideas you may have for your unique wedding cake. If you cancel the tasting box pick up with less than 48 hours notice, or if you fail to show up for your appointment, the fee will not be refunded.
  • Can I swing by your cake studio?
Unfortunately we are no that kind of bakery and work by appointment only. Since everything is baked to order, I'm afraid we are not open to the public as a walk-in area to purchase pre-made sweets.
  • How do I pay for my cake and secure my date?
Wedding Cake orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of the order to hold the date, with the total balance due one month prior to delivery/pickup. However, if you and your partner are still have are ironing out other wedding details, but would like to hold the date, we do accept a $350 'Save-the-Date' deposit until all design details have been approved. We accept all major credit cards and checks, as well as good old fashioned cash. There is a 3.25% processing fee on all credit card orders.
  • Do you deliver cakes?
We sure do! Our minimum order to be eligible for delivery is $500. Standard delivery range is roughly within one hour of McAllen, Texas and longer deliveries are determined on a case by case basis. Delivery fees are calculated by distance traveled. We don’t recommend clients self-transport carved/3D cakes, or cakes over 10 inches tall and are not responsible for any damage that may occur to any client-transported cake once it has left our studio (although if we can, we will do anything we can to help).
  • Do you make dairy-free, gluten-free, nut-free, and vegan cakes?"
We currently are able to accomodate dairy free and vegan cakes request with a limited menu and we have cakes that do not include nuts in the recipe. We always take precaution when baking, but because our facility is not a nut-free kitchen we are unable to guarantee that there will be no cross contamination. Please note we are unable to cater to those with celiacs.
  • Are there any policies I should know about?
    • Orders are not yet confirmed until we have received your signed contract and either a $250 ‘save-the-date’ deposit (if the design is still pending) or a 50% non-refundable deposit when cakes designs have been approved. If we do not receive these within five business days of your quote, your date may become unavailable. • Once fufilled orders are picked up by you or designated party they are consider "accepted as is."
